Biography
Caroline Rhea is a Canadian actress and stand-up comedian. Born on 13 April 1964 in Westmount, Quebec, she moved to New York in 1986 to pursue comedy, performing at clubs including Catch a Rising Star. She later relocated to Los Angeles for acting work.
Rhea is best known for playing Hilda Spellman in the series Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996–2003) and voicing Linda Flynn-Fletcher in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb (2007–). She hosted the syndicated talk show The Caroline Rhea Show (2002–2003) after replacing Rosie O'Donnell and was the original host of the reality series The Biggest Loser (2004–2006) for its first three seasons.
She has appeared in films including Christmas with the Kranks (2004) and The Perfect Man (2005), and in series such as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2006) and Sydney to the Max (2019–2021). Rhea has also released stand-up specials for HBO, Showtime and Bravo.
