Biography
Catherine Jourdan, born Catherine Paule Mignon, was a French actress. She appeared in around 22 films and television productions between 1967 and 1989.
Her screen debut was as the locker room girl in Jean-Pierre Melville’s Le Samouraï (1967). She went on to play Catherine in The Girl on a Motorcycle (1968), Violette in Alain Robbe-Grillet’s Eden and After (1970), and the queen in The Four Charlots Musketeers (1974) and its sequel.
Jourdan was born on 12 October 1948 in Azay-le-Rideau, Indre-et-Loire, France, and died in Paris on 18 February 2011.
