Biography
Catrin Striebeck is a German actress. She was born on 18 April 1966 in Vienna, Austria, the daughter of actors Peter Striebeck and Ulla Purr. She studied acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna and began her career on stage.
She was a company member at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg for thirteen years and later joined the Burgtheater in Vienna. Her screen debut came in 1992. She is known for roles in the films Head-On (2004) as Maren, Soul Kitchen (2009) and The Collini Case (2019), and for multiple appearances in the television series Tatort and Die Discounter (2021).
