Biography
Cecilia Yip Tung (also credited as Cecilia Yip or Ye Tong) is a Hong Kong actress. She began her career in 1982 with the film Nomad, for which she received a nomination for Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Yip won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress for Let's Make Laugh (1983) and This Thing Called Love (1991), and Best Supporting Actress for Beyond the Sunset (1989). She is known for roles including Lin Chuchu in Center Stage (1991), and has appeared in films such as Swordsman (1990), Peace Hotel (1995), Still Human (2018) and Jade Dynasty (2019). She is also credited as Zhao Huanxin in the 2026 film V. Yip has worked in television and theatre, and is married to filmmaker Chan Kwok-hei.
