Biography
Chang Hung-Yi (also credited as Hung-yi Chang, Peter Chang and others) was a Taiwanese composer. He was born on 30 April 1950 in Kaohsiung and died on 11 May 2006 in Shanghai.
He composed the music for Hou Hsiao-hsien’s The Time to Live and the Time to Die (1985). His other film scores include Daughter of the Nile (1987), A City of Sadness (1989) and Full Moon in New York (1989). He worked on more than thirty films between the early 1980s and the late 1990s.
