Biography
Charita Alden, also credited as Charita, was an actress born in Manila, Philippines. She appeared in a small number of films during the 1930s.
Her credits include an uncredited role as the lead hula dancer in the Laurel and Hardy comedy Sons of the Desert (1933), for which she also contributed to the soundtrack. She had roles in Madame Butterfly (1932) and as Rae, a Hawaiian dancer, in I Cover Chinatown (1936). Alden died in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1967.
