Biography
Charlie Charbonneau is a television writer and producer. He worked as staff writer on The Vampire Diaries (2012–2013) and as story editor and executive story editor on its spin-off The Originals (2013–2015). He also served as staff writer on The Secret Circle (2011–2012).
Born in Las Vegas and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York, Charbonneau moved to California at 17 and earned degrees in screenwriting and Spanish from the University of Southern California. He began his career as an assistant at the William Morris Agency before working as an assistant to writer-producer Kevin Williamson on several projects, including Scream 4 (2011). He later wrote and produced for Williamson and Julie Plec.
