Biography
Charlie Nguyen Kim is a French composer. He has composed original music for feature films including Paris Express (2010), Taxi 5 (2018) and Neuilly sa mère, sa mère ! (2018), as well as the 2026 action thriller Runner directed by Scott Waugh.
Nguyen Kim has also worked on television series and documentaries for French broadcasters, and collaborated with directors such as Luc Besson. His credits include additional music for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017).
He received a Cannes Lions award and an award at the 2025 SXSW Festival. His score for the official 2024 Olympics film, narrated by Marion Cotillard, was selected for the Cannes Film Festival.
