Biography
Charmaine DeGraté is an American screenwriter and producer. She graduated from Vassar College with a double major in political science and English literature, having spent summers as a Congressional intern in Washington, DC, and producing plays at the Powerhouse Theatre.
Her television writing credits include episodes of The 100 (2014–2019), House of the Dragon (2022), Daisy Jones & the Six (2023) and The Acolyte (2024). She has also served as co-executive producer on House of the Dragon and The Acolyte, and as supervising producer on The 100. In 2025 she signed a first-look deal with Universal Television through her Crestview banner.
DeGraté received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding limited or anthology series as part of the Daisy Jones & the Six team. She sits on the advisory board of the International Women in Media Foundation.
