Biography
Chelsea Tavares, also credited as Chelsea Royce Tavares, is an American actress and singer. She was born on 22 September 1991 in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California, and is of Cape Verdean descent.
She began her career with guest roles in series such as The District and The Practice, before recurring as Cranberry St. Claire in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous (2004–2007) and appearing as Autumn Williams in Just Jordan. Other early credits include episodes of Bones, NCIS and CSI: Miami.
Tavares is best known for her role as Patience Robinson in the series All American (2018–), which began as a recurring part before becoming a main role. She has also appeared in the film Fright Night (2011), voiced Nora in the video game The Last of Us Part II (2020), and featured in Lethal Weapon, Animal Kingdom and Queen of the South. Her younger sister, Kylee Russell, is also an actress.
