Biography
Chan Hung-lit (also credited as Chen Hung-Lieh or Chen Hung-Lit) was a Hong Kong actor. He joined Shaw Brothers Studio in 1964 after training and became known for portraying villains in wuxia and martial arts films.
He rose to prominence with his role as Jade Faced Tiger in the 1966 film Come Drink with Me. Other notable appearances include The Cub Tiger from Kwang Tung (1973) and Fantasy Mission Force (1983). He also directed films and founded a production company with his brother, actor Steve Chen Hao.
After a hiatus in the garment industry from 1988, he returned to acting with TVB in the mid-1990s and again from 2003. In 2004 he won the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Supporting Actor for War and Beauty.
