Biography
Cheng Siu-keung (Chinese: 鄭兆強), also credited as Milo Cheng or Alan Cheng, is a Hong Kong cinematographer, screenwriter and director. He was born on 21 July 1952 in Hong Kong.
He is known for his frequent collaborations with directors Johnnie To and Wai Ka-fai as cinematographer for their production company Milkyway Image. His credits include Thunderbolt (1995), Election (2005), Exiled (2006), Mad Detective (2007), Drug War (2012), Ip Man 4: The Finale (2019), Limbo (2021) and Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In (2024).
Cheng has received multiple nominations for best cinematography at the Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Film Festival, and won the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Achievement in Cinematography for Sparrow (2008). He has also directed several films, including White Lotus Cult (1993).
