Biography
Chrissy Metz is an American actress and singer. She was born on 29 September 1980 in Homestead, Florida.
Metz played Kate Pearson in the NBC series This Is Us (2016–2022), for which she received nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. She also wrote one episode of the series. Her other television credits include recurring roles in American Horror Story: Freak Show (2014–2015) and guest appearances in My Name Is Earl (2005) and Entourage (2005).
Her film roles include Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (2018), Breakthrough (2019) and Stay Awake (2022).
