Biography
Christian Hohoff was a German production manager, producer and writer. He worked extensively with Rainer Werner Fassbinder in the late 1960s and 1970s, serving as unit production manager or production manager on films including Love Is Colder Than Death (1969), Katzelmacher (1969), The American Soldier (1970), The Merchant of Four Seasons (1972), Fear Eats the Soul (1974) and Effi Briest (1974).
He received a writing credit on Fox and His Friends (1975), which he also produced. Hohoff continued working in production on German feature films, shorts and television into the 2000s, with credits including line producer or executive producer on titles such as Downhill City (1999), Plus-minus null (1998) and Saniyes Lust (2004). He died in Berlin on 1 March 2005.
