Biography
Christian McLaughlin is an American television writer, producer and author. Born on 29 September 1967 in Houlton, Maine, he graduated in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas.
He began his career writing sitcom spec scripts with partner Valerie Ahern. Their credits include episodes of Married... with Children (1987), Clueless (1996), Desperate Housewives (2004), Hannah Montana (2006), The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005), Jessie (2011) and a long run on The Young and the Restless (2007–2019). They created and produced the MTV series Spyder Games (2001).
McLaughlin has also written novels including Glamourpuss (1994) and Sex Toys of the Gods (1997). He received a Daytime Emmy Award in 2019 for his work on The Young and the Restless and co-wrote the award-winning play Meet & Greet (2014).
