Biography
Christine Bean is a costume designer based in New York City. She is best known for her work as costume designer on the NBC series The Blacklist (2013–2023), for which she created the wardrobe of Raymond Reddington and other characters across more than 200 episodes.
Bean holds a degree in Fashion Design from FIDM and began her career in Los Angeles as an intern in a television wardrobe department. She later worked at Western Costume Company, progressing from costumer to assistant designer on projects including The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Street Kings (2008), Arbitrage (2012) and Blood Ties (2013). Other credits include Smash (2012), Brothers & Sisters (2006–2010) and independent films such as Richard's Wedding (2012) and The Selling (2011). She is a member of the United Scenic Artists, Costume Designers Guild and Motion Picture Costumers.
