Biography
Christine Paul-Podlasky, also credited as Krystyna Podleska or Christine Paul, is a Polish-British actress. Born on 21 January 1948 in London, she trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1969, and began her career in British and Polish émigré theatre.
She made her screen debut as the White Coat Girl in Jerzy Skolimowski’s Deep End (1970). Subsequent roles include a dancer in Roman Polanski’s Macbeth (1971), Rosa in Vampire Circus (1972), Nelly Livingston-Pawluk in Krzysztof Zanussi’s Camouflage (1977), and Aleksandra Kozeł in Stanisław Bareja’s Teddy Bear (1981). She has also appeared in later Polish television productions and works as a translator of plays from English to Polish.
