Biography
Christopher Barbour is an American television writer and producer, also credited as Chris Barbour. He began his career in the late 1990s with assistant roles on films including Arlington Road (1998), Species II (1998), Dude, Where's My Car? (2000), The Cell (2000) and Blade II (2002).
Barbour moved into television writing with credits on 1-800-Missing (2003) and Crossing Jordan (2001). He joined CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) as a writer and rose through producing roles, serving as co-producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer across multiple seasons. He later wrote episodes of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (2016) and Criminal Minds (2005), where he also worked as co-executive producer and executive producer. His episode 'Lying Down With Dogs' for CSI earned a Genesis Award in 2008.
