Biography
Claude Mann, also credited as Claude Tasset, is a French actor born on 22 October 1940 in Antony, Hauts-de-Seine. He began his film career in the early 1960s and appeared in supporting roles in several notable French films.
His credits include Jean Fournier in Jacques Demy's Bay of Angels (1963), Claude Ullmann in Jean-Pierre Melville's Army of Shadows (1969), and Michael Richardson in Marguerite Duras's India Song (1975). He has also worked as a singer and, since the 1980s, has focused primarily on theatre as an actor, director and founder of the Théâtre François Dyrek in Joinville-le-Pont in 2001.
