Biography
Claudio Gioè is an Italian actor born on 27 January 1975 in Palermo. He trained at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica in Rome after developing an interest in acting while at school in his home city.
He made his screen debut in the 1997 short film Qui and gained wider recognition for roles in One Hundred Steps (2000) as Salvo Vitale and The Best of Youth (2003) as Vitale Micavi. Other notable film credits include The Mafia Kills Only in Summer (2013) and Boris: The Film (2011).
On television Gioè is known for portraying Salvatore Riina in the 2007 miniseries Il Capo dei Capi, Ivan Di Meo in Squadra antimafia – Palermo oggi (2009–2010), and Saverio Lamanna in the series Màkari (2021–).
