Biography
Cliff Potts is an American actor born on 5 January 1942 in Glendale, California. He began his career with guest roles in television series in the late 1960s and appeared in supporting parts in films including Sometimes a Great Notion (1971) and Silent Running (1972), in which he played John Keenan.
Potts was a regular supporting player in the first season of the series The Name of the Game (1968–69). He had a starring role as Mitch Fears in the short-lived series Big Hawaii (1977) and appeared as John Brooke in the television adaptation of Little Women (1978). His later credits include guest appearances in series such as Star Trek: The Next Generation (1991) and Murder, She Wrote. He retired from acting around 1999.
