Biography
Clive Bradley is a British screenwriter. He graduated from the National Film and Television School and was one of the winners of the first Orange Prize for Screenwriting in 1999. His early television credits include episodes of The Vice (ITV, 2001–2003), Last Rights (Channel 4, 2005) and A Harlot's Progress (Channel 4, 2006).
He wrote the screenplay for the film WΔZ (2007) and contributed to series including City of Vice (Channel 4, 2008), Single-Handed (ITV/RTE) and Crossing Lines (2013). Bradley was lead writer on all three seasons of the Icelandic series Trapped (2015–2021), for which he received a Writers' Guild of Great Britain award in 2017. He also wrote the BAFTA-winning children's drama That Summer Day (CBBC, 2006).
Bradley is creator and lead writer of the animated series Castlevania: Nocturne (Netflix, 2023–2025), on which he also serves as executive producer. He has worked on Drops of God (Apple TV+, 2023–) and co-created the television adaptation of Smilla's Sense of Snow (ITV, 2025).
