Biography
Colin Blakemore was a British neurobiologist specialising in vision and the development of the brain. He held positions including Professor of Neuroscience and Philosophy at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, and Emeritus Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Oxford.
Blakemore appeared as himself in the 2013 documentary Tim's Vermeer, discussing visual perception in relation to the film's exploration of painting techniques.
