Biography
Concordia Selander (1861–1935) was a Swedish actress and theatre manager. She was born Concordia Cornelia Johanna Hård in Arboga and died in Täby. She trained at the Royal Swedish Ballet school (1874–80) and the Royal Dramatic Training Academy (1878–83).
She worked at Stora teatern in Gothenburg (1883–85), with travelling companies (1885–88) and the Swedish Theatre in Stockholm (1888–89). In 1887 she married actor Hjalmar Selander; from 1889 the couple ran their own Selander Company, where she performed and served as co-manager. She appeared in films from 1917, including as Herr Arne's Wife in Sir Arne's Treasure (1919) and as Edit's Mother in The Phantom Carriage (1921).
