Biography
Constance Marie is an American actress. Born Constance Marie Lopez on 9 September 1965 in East Los Angeles, California, she began her career as a dancer, appearing on David Bowie's Glass Spider Tour in 1987 before moving into acting.
She made her screen debut in the film Salsa (1988) and the television series Dirty Dancing (1988–1989). Marie is known for playing Marcela Quintanilla in the film Selena (1997), Angie Lopez in the sitcom George Lopez (2002–2007), and Regina Vasquez in Switched at Birth (2011–2017). She voiced Imelda in the animated feature Puss in Boots (2011) and has appeared in series including Undone (2019–2022) as Camila Diaz.
Other credits include recurring roles in Early Edition, Spin City and Ally McBeal, as well as voice work in American Dad! and Elena of Avalor.
