Biography
Constantino Romero García (29 May 1947 – 12 May 2013) was a Spanish voice actor and television presenter. Born in Albacete, he began working as a dubbing artist in the early 1970s and became known for his deep voice in Spanish and Catalan versions of numerous films.
He provided the Spanish dub for actors including Clint Eastwood in many films, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, and James Earl Jones as Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy. Romero narrated Don Quixote (1992) and appeared as narrator in Earth (2007) and as Ron el gorila in Snowflake, the White Gorilla (2011).
He also hosted television game shows such as El tiempo es oro (1987–1992) and Pasapalabra, and received awards including the TP de Oro and Antena de Oro.
