Biography
Cora Bissett is a Scottish theatre director, playwright, actor and musician. She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and began her career as lead singer with the band Darlingheart before working in professional theatre, film and television.
As an actor she appeared in the film Red Road (2006) as Jo and had regular roles in the television series Rab C. Nesbitt and High Times. As a director she founded the company Pachamama and created productions including Roadkill (2010), Glasgow Girls and Adam. She was Associate Director at the National Theatre of Scotland from 2014 to 2022.
