Biography
Cosima Vellenzer is a German production designer. Born in 1987 in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, she trained at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
She is credited as production designer on The Universal Theory (2023) and Sound of Falling (2025). Earlier credits include assistant production designer on Head Full of Honey (2018) and art department work on Never Look Away (2018). She has also designed for television series including episodes of Tatort.
Her work on The Universal Theory earned a German Film Award (Lola) for Best Production Design in 2024, shared with Anika Klatt. For Sound of Falling she received the Prize of the Prime Minister at the 2025 Günter Rohrbach Filmpreis.
