Biography
Courtney Looney is a writer and producer. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees from the Radio-Television-Film programme and the Plan II Liberal Arts programme, and received an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
Looney began her work on the USA Network series Mr. Robot (2015) as a writer's assistant in 2015. She later served as story editor and writer on multiple episodes, and as co-producer on the final season. She also wrote the short film Marty (2004) and co-wrote the tie-in book Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow (2016) with series creator Sam Esmail.
