Biography
Cynthia Rhodes is an American retired actress, singer and dancer. She began her career in the 1970s as a performer at Opryland USA in Nashville while attending Glencliff High School.
Rhodes appeared in supporting roles in several 1980s films, including Tina Tech in Flashdance (1983), Jackie in Staying Alive (1983), Officer Karen Thompson in Runaway (1984) and Penny Johnson in Dirty Dancing (1987). Her final screen credit was in Curse of the Crystal Eye (1991).
