Biography
Dagmar Ebbesen was a Swedish actress. She was born on 1 October 1891 in Stockholm and died on 5 December 1954 in Solna.
Ebbesen began her career on stage, debuting as a teenager and later becoming known for roles in folk comedies, including the lead in the play Hemslavinnor, which she performed over 500 times. She appeared in numerous films from the early 1920s onwards, often as outspoken or kindly household servants or mature women.
Her film credits include Summer with Monika (1953) as Mrs Lindström and A Lesson in Love (1954) as the nurse Lisa. She worked in around eighty films in total.
