Biography
Daisy D'Ora, also credited as Daisy von Freyberg zu Eisenberg, was a German actress. Born in Potsdam to an aristocratic family, she adopted a stage name to work in film. Her career in silent cinema was brief, spanning the late 1920s.
She appeared in several German features, most notably as Charlotte Marie Adelaide von Zarnikow in G. W. Pabst's Pandora's Box (1929). Other credits include The Last Testament (1929) and Hungarian Nights (1929). She left the screen around 1930.
D'Ora later became Miss Germany in 1931 and worked as a model. She was married to diplomat Oskar Schlitter and died in Munich in 2010.
