Biography
Damian Shannon is an American screenwriter and producer. He frequently collaborates with Mark Swift, whom he met while studying at the University of Southern California.
Shannon attended Bishop McNamara High School and New York University. The pair's early credits include the screenplay for Freddy vs. Jason (2003). They later wrote Friday the 13th (2009) and Baywatch (2017), and contributed to the screenplay for Shark Tale (2004).
Their recent work includes the screenplay for the 2026 film Send Help. Shannon has also served as executive producer on films such as Seconds Apart (2011) and I Heart Shakey (2012).
