Biography
Damon O'Beirne is a cinematographer and animation professional. He has worked in layout, previs and cinematography departments on numerous animated features, beginning with layout roles at Amblimation in the early 1990s before joining DreamWorks Animation in 1995.
His credits include layout work on Balto (1995), The Prince of Egypt (1998), The Road to El Dorado (2000), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002), Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), Over the Hedge (2006), Bee Movie (2007), Monsters vs. Aliens (2009), Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), Rise of the Guardians (2012), Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017). He later served as head of previsualization at Netflix Animation and previs supervisor at Paramount Animation.
O'Beirne is credited as head of cinematography on the animated feature Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender (2026).
