Biography
Dan Beers is a writer and director. He began his career as a development executive at the New York production company Good Machine and later worked as associate producer on Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004).
Beers co-wrote and directed the short film FCU: Fact Checkers Unit (2007), which starred Bill Murray and screened at Sundance. He wrote for the animated features Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) and Rio (2011). His feature directorial debut Premature (2014) premiered at SXSW. He has directed episodes of the series Angie Tribeca (2016–2017) and The Who Was? Show (2018).
