Biography
Dan Haseltine is an American composer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the band Jars of Clay and has composed scores for film and television, often in collaboration with Matthew S. Nelson.
His television work includes the series The Chosen (2019–), for which he and Nelson created the original music. He has also composed for the films The Shift (2023) and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (2024). Haseltine is based in Franklin, Tennessee, and co-founded the aid organisation Blood:Water Mission.
Born in 1973 in Hampden, Massachusetts, he has contributed to soundtracks and other projects alongside his band and solo work.
