Biography
Dan Stidham is an American attorney and former judge who appeared as himself in the 2012 documentary West of Memphis, credited as the defense attorney for Jessie Misskelley.
He began representing Misskelley in 1993 in the West Memphis Three murder case and continued working on it until the defendants' release in 2011. Stidham has appeared in other documentaries on the case, including the Paradise Lost series (1996–2011).
Born on 3 March 1963 in Harvey, Illinois, Stidham earned a B.A. from Arkansas State University in 1984 and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas in 1987. He later served as a District Court Judge in Arkansas.
