Biography
Dan Tana (born Dobrivoje Tanasijević) was a Serbian-born actor, producer and restaurateur. He was born on 26 May 1935 in Čibutkovica, Serbia, and died on 16 August 2025 in Belgrade.
Tana studied acting with Jeff Corey in Malibu and made his screen debut in the 1957 film The Enemy Below. His other early acting credits include Imitation General (1958) and episodes of Steve Canyon (1959) and Peter Gunn (1960). He later appeared as the 1st Senator in Ralph Fiennes's Coriolanus (2011).
He also worked as a producer and co-wrote the screenplay for Twilight Time (1982). His daughter Gabrielle Tana is a film producer.
