Biography
Daniel Dresner is a British actor, voice artist, coach and teacher. Born in Bolivia and raised in Liverpool and London, he holds an honours degree in business and previously worked as a divisional manager for Olivetti before entering the entertainment industry.
He began performing in Tokyo as a stand-up comedian, actor and theatre director, later studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, where he worked as an actor for six years. He returned to London in 2001. Dresner is known for roles including Coughing Man (uncredited) in Closer (2004) and Barmitzvah Father 1 in Sixty Six (2006). He has appeared in numerous films, television shows, plays and commercials, and has provided voice work for games, narrations and ADR.
Dresner is the author of A Life-Coaching Approach to Screen Acting (Bloomsbury/Methuen) and coaches actors, directors and others while teaching at institutions including the Actors Centre, Guildhall and Drama Studio London.
