Biography
Daniel Louis is a Canadian film producer. Born on 12 October 1953 in Montréal, Québec, he co-founded the production company Cinémaginaire with Denise Robert in 1988.
He has produced or co-produced numerous feature films, including The Barbarian Invasions (2003), Mambo Italiano (2003), The Rocket (2005), Days of Darkness (2007) and Father and Guns (2009). His credits also include The Widow of Saint-Pierre (2000) and An Eye for Beauty (2014).
Louis has received multiple Genie Awards and other nominations for his productions.
