Biography
Daniel Rice is a cinematographer specialising in lighting at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He has worked on several animated features, progressing from lighting supervisor roles on earlier projects to director of cinematography: lighting credits.
His cinematography credits include Encanto (2021), Once Upon a Studio (2023) and Zootopia 2 (2025). He previously contributed to visual effects and lighting on films such as Moana (2016), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) and Big Hero 6 (2014).
