Biography
Daniel Voll is an American writer and producer. He wrote an episode of the NBC series The Blacklist (2014) and has writing credits on Lie to Me (2010) and The Unit (2006–2008). He created the series Threat Matrix (2003) and served as executive producer on The Unit and Lie to Me.
Prior to his television work, Voll was a journalist who reported from conflict zones for Esquire, Vanity Fair and The New York Times. He has written screenplays including Fire Dogs for MGM and produced the HBO documentary Soldiers in the Army of God (2000). He is a graduate of Duke University and holds an MFA from the University of California, Irvine.
Voll is married to actress Cecilia Peck.
