Biography
Daniela Ruah is an American-Portuguese actress and director. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she grew up in Portugal and trained at St Julian's School, London Metropolitan University (BA in Performing Arts) and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
She is best known for portraying NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye in the series NCIS: Los Angeles (2009–2023) and crossover appearances in NCIS (2003) and Hawaii Five-0 (2010). She has also appeared in the film Red Tails (2012). Ruah has directed episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS, NCIS: Hawaiʻi and The Equalizer.
She is married to David Paul Olsen, brother of her NCIS: Los Angeles co-star Eric Christian Olsen.
