Biography
Danielle Ferland is an American actress and singer. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 13 as Louise in Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George (1984). She originated the role of Little Red Ridinghood in the original Broadway production of Into the Woods (1987), for which she received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination. She studied at New York University.
Ferland has appeared in films including Radio Days (1987) as the Child Star and Mighty Aphrodite (1995) as Cassandra. On television she has had guest roles in series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Good Wife, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Orange Is the New Black and The Deuce. In 2021 she played Kim in Lin-Manuel Miranda's film tick, tick... BOOM!.
