Biography
Danielle Sanchez-Witzel is an American television writer and producer. She began her career after completing NBC’s diversity writing programme and contributed episodes to series including George Lopez (2002) and My Name Is Earl (2005).
She wrote episodes of New Girl (2011) and served as co-executive producer on the series. Sanchez-Witzel was showrunner on The Carmichael Show (2015) and co-created Up Here (2023) and Survival of the Thickest (2023). She has held overall deals with studios including 20th Television and Netflix.
