Biography
Daniil Matveyevich Netrebin was a Soviet and Russian actor. Born on 7 May 1928 in Millerovo, he graduated from VGIK in 1954 and joined the Theatre-Studio of Film Actors in Moscow, where he remained until 1990. He made his screen debut in 1956 in The Forty-First and appeared in numerous films and television productions over the following decades, often in supporting roles.
Netrebin is known for parts in The Cranes Are Flying (1957), Fate of a Man (1959), The Elusive Avengers (1967), War and Peace (1968) and Dersu Uzala (1975), in which he played a policeman. He was named Honoured Artist of the RSFSR in 1991 and also worked as a voice actor. He died in Moscow on 21 February 1999.
