Biography
Danny Green (26 May 1903 – 1973) was an English actor. He was best known for playing the slow-witted ex-boxer One-Round, alias Mr. Lawson, in the 1955 Ealing comedy The Ladykillers.
He appeared regularly in British film, television and on the stage from 1929 to 1969. Stage roles included comic gangsters in the original London productions of Guys and Dolls (1953) and Do Re Mi (1961). Other film credits include Karim in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) and Morgan Femm in The Old Dark House (1963). One of his final roles was as Lord Surrey in the 1969 Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) episode "Just for the Record".
