Biography
Darius Milhaud was a French composer. He provided the music for the 1933 film Land Without Bread.
Born on 4 September 1892 in Marseille, he died on 22 June 1974 in Geneva. He studied at the Paris Conservatory and was a member of Les Six. Milhaud composed for films, ballets, operas and other genres, and taught at institutions including the Paris Conservatory and Mills College.
