Biography
Dave Simonds is an American actor and filmmaker. He appeared in several independent films of the 1990s and early 2000s, including Amateur (1994), The Peacemaker (1997), Henry Fool (1998), The Book of Life (1998) and Signs & Wonders (2000), in which he played Kent.
Simonds trained at Bard College and worked extensively in New York theatre. He co-founded the Obie Award-winning Cucaracha Theatre and performed at venues including the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Long Wharf Theatre and Portland Stage Company. He has also directed documentaries such as Forgotten Farms (2016) and The Hoy Boys (2019).
