Biography
David Bergeaud is a French composer of film, television and video game scores. Born in Paris in 1968, he began musical studies at the age of five and trained at a classical conservatory before moving to Los Angeles to work in jazz and electronic music.
He composed the score for the documentary Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer (1992). Bergeaud is known for his work on the Ratchet & Clank video game series, the documentaries Kurt & Courtney (1998) and Grizzly Man (2005), and films including The Unnamable (1988), Prince Valiant (1997), The Badge (2002) and Hangman's Curse (2003). He has also contributed additional music to projects by directors such as Ang Lee and Walter Salles.
Bergeaud received BMI Film Music Awards for the television series Strong Medicine.
